★DREAMS toward SPACE☆

This is a story I made last year on American Affair class.
If you read and write a comment, I am so happy;)

In 2009, I am an American student. I have gone to Japanese high school for a year.
One day, I met a Japanese friend. She and I were same class at Japanese high school. She became beautiful and she looked very fine. When I found her, I invited her to lunch at a cafe. After we sit down, we start to chat.

"Why do you visit the USA?" I ask.
"Well, do you have a dream? I want to be an astronaut." She answers.
"You will be an astronaut?"
"Yeah, so I decided to study at NASA, and I prepare for it now."

I live in Houston, so I can meet her.

"Really? Great! I don't have a dream yet." I say.
"Then, do you have a person who you respect? I respect Neil Alden Armstrong. Do you know him?" She asks.
"Let me see... I know him! He is the first person who was on the moon, isn't he?"
"Yes, he is."
"I think he has good smile."
"Have you ever met him?"

I answer "no", but I remembered him certainly.

--A few days before, I had a wonderful dream when I was sleeping. I was the Star-Spangled Banner and I went to the moon with Armstrong in 1969. I watched him start to walk on the moon and I heard his famous saying in Apollo 11.
"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
I was impressed by his saying. He looked very happy with his great smile. When he put me up on the moon, he smiled at me. I wanted to watch his smile forever, but I may smile at the earth today.--

"By the way, what do you want to do as an astronaut?" I ask my friend.
"I want to be a first woman who is on the Venus someday." She answers.
"Good for you! Your dream should come true."
"Thank you. I think it is necessary for you to have a dream."
"You are right and I can have a dream just now!"
"Excellent! What is your dream?"
"I will be a designer and I want you to bring a flag which I designed into the Venus!"
"Good idea, because I like the picture you paint! How do you design the flag?"
"I'd like to draw goodwill between Japan and the USA."
"I'm really looking forward to it!"

We wish to realize our dream in the future.

It is all my imagination, so it may have some mistakes.
In other words, it is a fiction story.

See you again:)
